Common questions
How do I start?
Tap the plus button in the library to add an M3U/M3U8 playlist, an Xtream account, a Jellyfin or Emby server, or your own videos. DriveTV doesn't provide any channels or movies; only add content you own or are allowed to access.
Why do I only hear sound in my car?
Every CarPlay car can play the sound. Video in the car needs a car that supports CarPlay video and iOS 26.4 or later, and plays only while parked. After playback starts, tap the TV icon on the car's Now Playing screen.
Why isn't DriveTV on my car screen?
On your iPhone, open Settings > General > CarPlay, choose your car, tap Customize and add DriveTV.
Which formats work?
HLS (M3U8), MP4, MOV, M4V and other formats iOS supports. MKV on Jellyfin or Emby is converted by the server automatically. DRM-protected video can't be played.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the Settings tab in DriveTV and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account. Subscriptions are managed in iPhone Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
